One of two screenings celebrating the work of Mike Alexander and Douglas Eadie, and one of the first Gaelic language films, AS AN EILEAN is a gentle, humourous exploration of Scottish island life. Callum is in his final year at school and about to leave for university when he falls madly in love with Kirsty, from the neighbouring village. Will he stay or will he go?
The screening will be introduced with Gaelic songs from Wilma Kennedy, one of the stars of the film.
