RICKLE O STANES
This is a show about Scotland’s land: about its rocks and mud, what it’s grown, what lives it’s sustained, how it’s been bought, fought for and wounded. Through powerful and playful storytelling and traditional song, Shona Cowie, Neil Sutcliffe and dramaturg Liam Hurley explore the layers of history on which we stand today, piling up to create a performance as radical as it is entertaining. Originally commissioned for the Scottish International Storytelling Festival 2023.
