FIDDLE WORKSHOP WITH LAUREN MACCOLL

Join one of Scotland’s most accomplished fiddle players Lauren MacColl who will be taking a deep dive into strathspeys. This workshop is suitable for intermediate and advanced players and will be taught mainly by ear with music provided.

Join Lauren as she dissects a strathspey and all its rich elements. She will cover bowing, phrasing, groove and ornamentation to unlock the beauty and power of this unique tune type.
